Welcome back for part 3 of our look at Halloween. We have all seen them sitting innocently on the porch or on the porch rail. Mr. Jack-O-Lantern, but where did he come from? We will wrap up our look at Halloween by looking at where this ritual started and what we as Christians should think about it and what we should do with "Jack". We will also be submitting a challange to each of you as we close out this Halloween program. Welcome back. I figure this is probably not a favorite topic among the kids as they are looking for lots of candy, but the truth about Halloween needs to be told. CRN took on this project to try and open up the eyes of the Christian community this year as we are drawing closer and closer to the end times. Are you ready for The Lords return? If you answer YES to this question and still plat around with Satan's Holiday then you are lying to yourself and to God. We now have our new studios up and running so it's time to get back to work. In today's news and commentary we will look at the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP). You can find out more information about IDOP 2009 right here.

We will also be talking about President Obama and his disrespect of the Christian Faith Traditions and how he is bending over backwards for the Muslim faith. He will celebrate the Islamic holy month of Ramadan but will not allow any activity related to an official event declared by Congress, the National Day of Prayer. What next Mr President?

Let's take a look at the entertainment front as we turn to the Gospel Music Channel and their celebration of Gospel Heritage Month during the month of September. Sorry folks for getting this information out this late. You will find a complete schedule at the end of this post.
